To create an entry, select the desired site, click on the "+ Create" button at the top-left of the Entries Listing. From the dropdown menu, select the Model from which you would like to create an entry, and the entry editor will be displayed.

To view your entries on a site, navigate to the desired site on the left-side menu, and then click on the "My entries" link.

To quickly manage an Entry, you can use the quick action buttons located under the Entry title to view, schedule, publish, unpublish, or add the entry to a list. Additionally, you can use the buttons in the three dots menu to open the entry editor, clone, or delete the entry.

To search for specific entries, utilize the search bar located at the top of the Entries Listing. Simply input any keyword related to the entry you are seeking, and all entries that contain that keyword in their content will be shown in the Entries Listing. Please note that the searchable fields of the entries can be enabled or disabled in the model's configuration.

To filter the entries, use the Filters button located at the top-right of the Entries Listing. In the dropdown menu, you can filter the entries by various criteria, which are grouped into System Filters (Models, Status, Created by, Updated by, Published at, First published date, Created, Updated, and Labels), Codex Fields (Sections, Tags, Authors, Assets, and Entries), and Searchable Fields which become available after filtering a model, and all its searchable fields will be listed. Additionally, each filtering criterion has options for further refining your entry search.

To customize the columns of the Entries Listing, click on the button on the last column of the Entries table, then activate or deactivate the columns to make them visible or hidden. Additionally, you can sort the columns by clicking on the arrows in each column (Created Date, Updated Date, Published Date, and Labels).

To save a Personalized View, make your desired filtering, sorting, and table customizations for the entries. Then, click the "Save this view" button at the top of the Entries Listing. A modal will appear where you can name the view and select the "Only me" option. Your Personalized View will be saved on the left sidebar under the Entries link with a personalized icon.

To save a Shared View, make your desired filtering, sorting, and table customizations for the entries. Then, click the "Save this view" button at the top of the Entries Listing. A modal will appear where you can name the view and specify the teams with whom you want to share it. Your Shared View will be saved on the left sidebar under the Entries link with a shared icon.

To add entries to a List, select the desired List and click the “+ Add Entries” button at the top-left of the corner. A side panel will open where you can select the entries by using the search and filter options to locate the desired entries. After selecting the entries, click on the “Insert” button.

To reorder entries in a List, click on the desired entry and drag and drop it into the desired position.

To schedule an entry in a List, click on the “Start” field to enter the start date, and click on the “End” field to enter the end date.

To remove an entry from a List, click on the quick actions represented by three dots, then click the “Remove Entry” option.

To upload images to Assets, first select the folder or subfolder where you want to upload the new images. Then, use the "Upload" button located at the top-left of the Assets overview to select the images you wish to upload from your device. Alternatively, you can drag and drop images from your device onto the Assets overview screen.

To add metadata to an image, hover over the image and click on the first button (Asset Metadata Management). In the modal that opens, you can enter details such as the title, caption, alt text, source, author, copyright, tags, and expiration date.

To edit an image in Assets, hover over the image and click on the second button (Image Editing Tool). In the modal that opens, you can access the Image Properties, Crop Image, and Pixelation Tools.

To set the Focal Point for an image, hover over the image and click on the third button (Focal Point). In the modal that opens, you can define the desired Focal Point for the image at the asset level.

To download an image from Assets, hover over the asset and click on the fourth button (Save icon with an arrow).

To delete an image from Assets, hover over the asset and click on the fifth button (Deletion icon with a trash can). Confirm the deletion by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up prompt.

To edit multiple images in Assets, select the images you want to edit, right-click, and choose the "Edit selected assets" option. In the modal that opens, you can enter details such as the title, caption, alt text, source, author, copyright, tags, and expiration date.

To delete multiple images from Assets, select the images you want to delete, right-click and choose the "Delete selected assets" option. Confirm the deletion by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up prompt.

To add a new folder in Assets, right-click on the selected folder and choose the "+ New" option. Then, create a new folder or subfolder as needed.

To rename a folder in Assets, right-click on the selected folder and choose the "Edit" option. Then, rename the folder or subfolder as needed.

To delete a folder in Assets, right-click on the selected folder and choose the "Delete" option. Confirm the deletion by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up prompt.

To order your folders in Assets, click on the top-right button on the folders sidebar and select one of the options to order them alphabetically: A-Z Ascending or Z-A Descending.

To search for specific media in Assets, use the search bar located at the top of the Assets overview. Simply type in any keyword related to the asset you are searching for, and all assets that include that keyword in their metadata will be displayed in the Assets overview. Note that the displayed assets will be from the current folder and its subfolders (if they exist).

To filter the Assets, use the Filters button located at the top-right of the Assets overview. In the dropdown menu, you can filter the assets by various criteria, including: Type, Created date, Updated date, Title, Caption, Alt, Source, Author, Tags, Content type, File name, Size, Width, Height, Duration, Expiration date, Created by, and Updated by. Additionally, each filtering criterion has options for further refining your asset search.

To sort the Assets, use the Sort button located at the top-right of the Assets overview. In the dropdown menu, you can arrange the assets in either Descending or Ascending order based on various criteria, including: Created date, A to Z, Expiration date, Updated date, and Asset size.

To add content types in the Rich Content Field, type the following slash symbol (/) and select any of the options from the dropdown menu, such as: paragraphs, headings, references, images, videos and more.

To add textual content types in the Rich Content Field, type the following slash symbol (/) and select any of the options from the dropdown menu, such as: paragraph, heading, bullet list, ordered list, factbox, and blockquote.

To add media in the Rich Content Field, type the following slash symbol (/) and select the Media option from the dropdown menu. Then, upload your media files or choose existing media files from the Asset Management Hub.

To add Embeds in the Rich Content Field, type the following slash symbol (/) and select any of the embed options from the dropdown menu, such as: Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Spotify, MallTV, Vimeo, TikTok, Apple Podcast, or Google Podcast. Then, enter the URL of the Embed post you want to embed.

To add references in the Rich Content Field, type the following slash symbol (/) and select the Reference option from the dropdown menu. Then, browse entries via search and filter, select desired entries, and click the "Insert" button in modal.

To preview an entry while editing it, access the "General" tab on the right side panel, and click on the “Preview” button. This will open a preview of the current entry in a new tab, allowing you to see how it will look once published.

To add a label to the current entry, access the "General" tab on the right side panel, and click the "Add to label" button. From the dropdown menu, select the desired label that you want to add to the current entry.

To add an entry to a list while editing it, access the "General" tab on the right side panel, and click the "Add to list" button. From the dropdown menu, select the desired list that you want to add to.

To view the version history of the entry, access the “History” tab on the right side panel.

To preview a version history of the entry, access the “History” tab on the right side panel, and click on the desired version. The selected version of the entry will be displayed in the entry editor with a shadow overlay.

To rename a version of the entry, access the “History” tab on the right side panel, then click on the “Edit” quick action button under the desired version. A modal will appear where you can edit the version name, and then click the “Save” button.

To clone a version of the entry, access the “History” tab on the right side panel, then click on the “Clone” quick action button under the desired version. The cloned entry will be listed at the top of the version history.

To compare a version of the entry with the current version, access the “History” tab on the right side panel, then click on the “Compare” quick action button under the desired version.

To format text in the Rich Content Field, select the desired text and locate the editor toolbar buttons to bold, italicize, underline, or strikethrough the selected text.

To align text in the Rich Content Field, select the desired text and locate the editor toolbar buttons to align the text to the left, center, right, or justify.

To insert links in the Rich Content Field, select the desired text and locate the URL button in the editor toolbar. Then, enter the URL you want to link.

To switch between textual content types in the Rich Content Field, select the desired text block and locate the first button in the editor toolbar. From the dropdown menu, select the desired textual content type.

To add comments in the Rich Content Field, select the desired block and locate the Comments button in the editor toolbar. Then, use the Resolve, Edit, Delete, or Reply options by clicking on the three dots next to the comment.

To delete a block in the Rich Content Field, select the desired block and locate the Delete button in the editor toolbar.

You can easily search for anything using the Global Search feature in Codex. To access it quickly, use the keyboard shortcut FN + COMMAND + SPACE on macOS, or CTRL + Space on Windows.

You can search for all media in the Assets root folder by using the search bar at the top of the Asset Management Hub and entering keywords related to the media.

You can edit multiple images in Assets by selecting the images you want to modify, right-clicking, and selecting "Edit selected images" from the dropdown menu. This will open a new tab where you can access the Image Properties, Crop Image, and Pixelation Tools.

You can use the “Focus Mode” button located at the top of the entry editor to hide both the Left Side Menu and the Side Panel, allowing you to concentrate fully on your work.

You can type the “/” symbol to add content types in the Rich Content Field, such as paragraphs, headings, references, images, videos, and more.

You can use “@” in the Rich Content Field to search for entries, assets, videos, galleries, and more.

You can create Embeds by pasting the link in your entry editor. Once you've pasted the link, a dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select the second option to display it as an embed.

You can easily switch between textual content types in your content. To do this, select the text block you want to switch and use the first button in the editor toolbar. The first button in the toolbar contains a dropdown menu that lets you easily switch to another content type.

You can quickly add videos or images by typing "/Video" or "/Image" in the Rich Content Field. This action opens the Asset modal, where the assets are automatically pre-filtered, allowing you to easily locate the desired videos and assets.

You can efficiently create a new author at the entry level while editing your content. Simply locate the Author Field and click on the "Add New" button. Write the name of the new author, then click on the "Create New" button next to it."

To switch to a different organization, click on the profile photo icon at the top-right corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select the "Switch Organization" option, and then click on the organization you want to access.

To switch to different sites in your organization, locate the left side menu that lists the components, then click on the site you want to access.

To access your Profile, click on the profile photo icon located at the top-right corner of the screen, then select the “Profile” option from the dropdown menu. Once you are on the profile page, you can update your information by clicking on the "Edit your profile" link at the bottom of the page.

To access your Author Profile, click on the profile photo icon located at the top-right corner of the screen, then select the "Profile" option from the dropdown menu. Once you are on the profile page, you will see an option for "Author profile" on the left side menu. Click on this option to update your author profile information.

To switch languages in Codex, click on the profile photo icon located at the top-right corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select the "Language" option, and you will be presented with a list of language options to choose from. Select the language you want to use, and Codex will switch to that language.
